Chalice Welch was dropped off at a friend’s birthday party at Embassy Suites in Irving, TX, around 10:30 PM on February 2, 2024. Friends report she was already visibly intoxicated when she arrived. Later that night, Chalice left the party with three men she had met within the past year. She entered a vehicle with one of them—publicly named on social media as Salahssie Donatto—while the other two followed in a second vehicle.
She was later seen on surveillance footage leaving Apartment 1519 at Luxia Midtown Park, a luxury apartment complex listed on Airbnb. That footage was recovered and publicly posted by family and supporters online. Chalice’s phone last pinged at 4:36 AM near Walnut Hill Ln & N Central Expy, about a mile from the apartment. She has not been heard from since.
Soon after her disappearance, escort advertisements bearing Chalice’s likeness were discovered, both before and after February 3, raising concerns that she may have been groomed and trafficked.
Despite the severity and urgency of these red flags, Irving Police Department did not classify her disappearance as foul play, failed to issue a CLEAR Alert, and did not pursue key leads. Texas EquuSearch reportedly declined the case, citing the possibility Chalice had already been trafficked out of state.
Chalice missed her youngest child’s first birthday on February 6, an action completely out of character for her, according to friends and family.

We are calling on the Dallas Police Department and Irving Police Department to immediately reclassify Chalice Angel Welch’s case as high-risk and trafficking-related. We demand a CLEAR Alert be issued, as her disappearance meets Texas DPS alert criteria and presents multiple indicators of abduction and exploitation.
Additionally, we urge law enforcement to:
We also request that the FBI Missing Persons Program be contacted under their Crimes Against Children and Human Trafficking Division. A young mother vanished under suspicious and exploitative conditions—this warrants immediate national attention.
