Why This Work Matters

The system wasn't built for everyone. We're changing that.

When a Black woman goes missing, the coverage is quieter. When an Indigenous person disappears, the search moves slower. When someone with an intellectual disability is trafficked, the system often doesn't recognize what's happening until it's too late.

AIDBIPOC exists because the gap between who gets searched for and who gets forgotten is not random. It follows a pattern — and that pattern has a cost. This database, these alerts, these demand letters, this advocacy — none of it happens without funding.

Your donation directly supports the cases you see in this database. It funds formal demand letters to law enforcement, petition campaigns that build public accountability records, and the technology infrastructure that keeps these cases visible long after the news cycle moves on.
